Surgins truly is a unique company, completely driven by the surgeon’s vision and wisdom where the surgeon is the manufacturer. As such, we are proud to produce high quality instruments that are completely surgeon specific, even down to being personally engraved, because surgeons come in all shapes and sizes therefore it makes sense their tools reflect this. It also makes sense for surgeons to be the designers of the tools which are widely regarded as the extension of their hands. Surgeons used to have their own workshops close to the operating theatre to develop their own tools- we’re bringing this creativity back to them, cutting the layers between them and the manufacturing industry, giving them then power back over procurement, which is mostly run by managers in hospitals now, to produce the tools they need from their exact designs. It is exciting to imagine the untapped potential in minds of surgeons out there that Surgins will soon be able to bring to life in titanium and stainless steel, which will surely change the future of the treatment of surgical diseases.
